About me
My own journey with dogs began in childhood and has continued throughout my entire life. I’ve lived with and loved many breeds over the years — from a joyful Beagle to a loyal Hovawart — but Border Collies truly shaped the trainer I am today. Their enthusiasm, intelligence, and love of learning inspired me to dive deeper into training across many disciplines. Today, I share my life with two wonderful Border Collies who keep me exploring new ideas, activities, and challenges every single day, and who have inspired me to start BOUNCE & BRAIN.
For over two decades, I’ve trained, coached, competed, and learned alongside dogs of all ages and personalities. Agility has been my main passion for many years. I am competing at the highest level in the UK and abroad, but am also an active KC Agility judge, an Agility Club–certified first class instructor, and former chairperson of North London Dog Agility Club.
Alongside Agility, I have trained as a trainer, as well as explored with my own dogs scentwork, mantrailing, hoopers, Treibball, trick training, canicross, bikejoring, and enrichment-based activities. Staying curious and creative keeps training fun — for me and for the dogs.
Bounce & Brain Dog Training is built on the values that matter most to me:
Positive reinforcement, responsible dog ownership, structured progress tailored to each dog’s individual needs, and joyful learning to grow happy dog / human partnerships.
My aim is to help dogs and their humans grow in confidence, trust and connection while giving them the practical skills they can use in everyday life. Each partnership has their own goals, and I am supporting them to get there via a tailored and accessible service portfolio.
Whether your goal is a well-rounded family dog, confidence-building activities, or developing new skills together, I’m here to support you with patient guidance, clear communication, and training plans shaped for real life.
Most importantly, I want you and your dog to enjoy the journey.
Training should feel motivating, empowering, and full of “lightbulb moments” — not stressful or overwhelming.
When dogs feel safe, understood, and encouraged, they learn faster and the bond is growing stronger.
Let’s help your dog move, think, and shine — with plenty of bounce and brain 😊
